Application Engineer

(Singapore - Ubi)- Immediate recruitment

Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning, developing and deployment of product demonstrations for trade shows and demo sessions.
Develop simple programs on the product Hardware/Software API usage.
Analyze and troubleshoot Hardware/Software API issues.
Coordinates support efforts with partners to resolve any reported technical issues.
Conducting and attending events such as conferences, seminars, local or overseas etc.
Candidate must be able to work independent and with minimum supervision.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Diploma with experience in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent.
Motivated to learn and keep up to date with the latest technology in programming ,OS and hardware drivers
A good knowledge in C++/C# is essential. Applicants with knowledge of C++, C#.Net and VB 6.0 would have added advantages.
Applicants with knowledge Machine Vision/ Optics/ Image Processing would have added advantages.
Experience: Min. 2-3 years

Sales Engineer

Identify/understand current and future customer's needs and wants.
Build repo with customers and suppliers
Assist customer's enquiries
Responsible to provide product and technical understanding.
Responsible for planning, developing and deployment of product demonstrations for trade shows and demo sessions.
Able to analyze and troubleshoot Hardware/Software API issues when necessary.
Coordinates support efforts with partners to resolve any reported technical issues.
Conducting and attending events such as conferences, seminars, local or overseas etc.
