With 30 years experience designing thermal imaging cameras for firefighters.
Give your team the best equipment for the job.
Not only is it compact, it is also capable with a x2 zoom, storage for up to 100 images and spot and ambient temperature measurements as standard features. In addition it has a 13 colour screen display option as well as the ability to customise the camera settings to a fire fighter's own personal preference.
To ensure it can withstand the tough environments fire fighters have to operate in, the Argus™4 thermal image camera has a ruggedised, high quality Radel casing. It was specially chosen because of its strength, resistance to heat, water and impact. It can also withstand driving spray and short-term immersion in water to a depth of 1 metre – as well as survive a 2 metre drop test and naturally tolerate high temperatures - it really is a tough little camera.

The NEW Argus SC specialist searchcamera is the latest generation of the highly successful Argus thermal imaging camera. It has been specifically designed to help Police and security personel to detect the heat signaturesrequired in specialist search opperations.
The camera can be used in conditions of zero visibility including complete darkness and smoke. The Argus SC offers a simple-to-operate configuration and is a robust, self-contained camera, with fully automatic operation. It is lightweight and ergonomic and capable of withstanding harsh environments.
The ArgusSC uses a high-resolution 320 x 240 pixel, Amorphous Silicon (ASi) Microbolometer Detector. It has been designed using advanced digital imaging technology for a sharper picture and provides superior performance.
The Argus SC comes with the most advanced features available in any thermal imaging camera. These include:

When selected this clever automatic function helps the user to scan an area (e.g. walls or equipment inside of a room) looking for anything unusual. (E.g. electronic equipment that may have been imbedded, any voids within a wall or any area of a wall that may have been tampered with.)

This mode allows the user to fix the camera's dynamic range to take an image and compare scenes in real time. A house being investigated as a suspected drug factory can be viewed with the camera, then using the image compare mode view a neighbouring house using the same dynamic range setting. If the image is darker, it implys that the first (suspected) house is much hotter therefore contributing to evidence that the house could be a residential drug factory.
Colourises the thermal image to allow the user to pinpoint the areas of interest within the surveillance scene.
Displays the temperature of objects within a defined area of the thermal scene.
The Argus SC can capture and store up to 100 images. These can then be viewed or deleted using the on screen menu. Using the software provided, the captured images can be downloaded to a suitable laptop/PC and exported in various formats.
The Argus SC can instantly turn off the LCD backlight to prevent recognition.
Brigade logos or station names can be added to the start-up screen for asset tracking and/or personalisation of the camera.
Allows the user to zoom in on the scene, from a distance, for improved investigation, identification and surveillance of the scene.
The time and date is displayed at the top of the viewing screen.
The Argus SC allows the end user to adjust various camera settings and review and delete stored images.
The new ArgusSC uses a combination of direct spot temperature measurement and unique software to immediately identify travellers with raised body temperatures.
Travellers stepping off a plane or boat can immediately be viewed and assessed by an individual with a camera, moving from one landing area to another as needed.
The camera can also be fix mounted and linked to
a larger screen or computer; this allows users the flexibility of permanently setting up at a bottle neck position to view a crowd as they pass by.
